The Accademia dei Filodrammatici, founded in 1796, is one of the oldest schools of Performing Arts in Europe, and also one of the founders of Écoles des Ecoles.

The school trains actors through courses of elocution, acting, speech, voice, movement, mask, modern dance, singing and theatre culture, all of them of a two-year duration. Besides the institutional curriculum of studies, the Accademia organises specialiasation courses open to graduated actors and other theatre professionals.
